Help sought to plan Memorial Day programs in Livermore Falls

LIVERMORE FALLS — The Memorial Day Committee is inviting community members to help plan this year's events. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at the George Bunten Post 10 American Legion, 17 Reynolds Ave.

Volunteers are needed for flagging of the town's 1,400-plus local veteran graves, along with the Memorial Day Services and local parade May 28.

"The Memorial Day programs are a community program and we are asking for the community to step forward and be part of the process of planning and implementing this program," according to a release.
