Dozens of bags of ice stolen from Food City

LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating the theft of 67 bags of ice from an ice chest outside of Food City on Main Street.

The ice chest received about $250 damage and the ice is valued at $75, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Wednesday.

The vandalism was reported Tuesday afternoon and is believed to have occurred either late Monday or early Tuesday.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call the Livermore Falls Police Department at 897-3424.
