Apple Pumpkin Festival postponed to Oct. 13

LIVERMORE FALLS — Apple Pumpkin Festival organizers have postponed the festival to Saturday, Oct. 13, because of predicted inclement weather.

The festival was scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29. The weather forecast does not look good for this Saturday, Bruce Adams, co-chairman of the Apple Pumpkin Festival Committee, said Friday.

“Everything will be the same,” he said of the Oct. 13 event. “We are just physically moving everything forward because of weather.”

Adams said after a check with many involved, a consensus was reached to postpone the festival.

The event is organized by the Jay, Livermore, Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce. Representatives were sending out emails and contacting people by phone to let them know of the postponement.

For information, check the festival's website at applepumpkinfestival.org or the chamber's website at jay-livermore-lf.org.
