Farmington Police Garage nears completion

Ann Bryant/Sun Journal

After a couple of finishing touches, Farmington Police Department's new garage is complete. Some electrical work is being scheduled, as well as a final tour by the police chief, town manager, architect and contractor, said Deputy Chief Shane Cote. A sign will dedicate the garage to benefactor Richard Bjorn. Some work that needed to be redone pushed the cost over budget by $1,900, Town Manager Richard Davis told selectmen. The department will cover the expense, he said.
