Martin Luther King service Monday in Farmington

FARMINGTON — A Martin Luther King ecumenical service takes place at noon Monday, Jan. 21, at Trinity United Methodist Church on the Farmington Falls Road.

The annual service is sponsored by Farmington Area Ecumenical Ministry. Local pastors will participate along with the Rev. Walter Brown from the Methodist Church.

There will be music and references to King's "I Have a Dream" speech, he said.

All are welcome to attend.

A freewill offering will be accepted to benefit FAEM's Housing Assistance Fund, he said. The fund helps with rent and rental deposits for area people in need.
