BLACK — David A., 42, died Feb. 9. The viewing was at the Independent Death of Maine on Feb. 11. There is another ceremony at Marston Corner Baptist Church, 752 Beechill Road, Auburn from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16. All are welcome.

HERSEY — Douglas A., 82, died Feb. 12. Services will he held at the First Assembly of God Church, 70 Hogan Road, Lewiston on Wednesday at 7 p.m. preceded by an hour of visitation at 6 p.m. at the church. Burial St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lannette Cloutier, 81 Magnum Drive, Turner, ME 04282, to help defray funeral expenses. A service of The Fortin Group Funeral Home, Cremation and Monument Services, 70 Horton St., Lewiston, 784-4584.

KEYO — Joyce H., 79, of Mexico, died at Rumford, Sunday, Feb. 12. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 42 Weld St., Dixfield. Interment will be at the Demerritt Cemetery in Peru.

LOWELL — Frank A. Sr., 89, died Feb. 9 in Newry. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. at the Alliance Church in Bethel. Interment will be in the spring at Powers Cemetery in Newry. Those who wish may make a donation in Frank’s name to The Dempsey Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Greenleaf Chapel, 37 Vernon St., Bethel.

MILLS — Peggy J., 89, of Farmington, died at Farmington, Feb. 11. Family and friends are invited to call at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Center, on Saturday at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Ira Hall of the Bean’s Corner Baptist Church officiating. Following services, a reception will be held at the Bean’s Corner Baptist Church Vestry, hosted by the Hospitality Committee. All are welcome. Winter entombment at the funeral home. Spring committal services will be held Monday, July 9, at 10 a.m. at the East Wilton Cemetery. In the funeral announcement, please add that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pine Tree Camp for Handicapped Children in Rome, operated by the Pine Tree Society http://www.pinetreesociety.org.

MORGAN — Barbara A., 82, of Lewiston, died Feb. 10 in Auburn. A memorial Mass honoring Barbara’s life will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, at St. Patrick’s Church in Stoneham, Mass. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford, Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 170 U.S. Route 1, Suite 250, Falmouth, ME 04105. A memorial gathering will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, 784-4023.

SAMPSON — Shelley E., 59, died Feb. 11. Celebration of life will be held at the Poland Community Church Hall, Sunday, Feb. 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. with a potluck!

SNELL — Gordon L. “Tut,” 90, of Farmington, died at Farmington, Friday, Feb. 10. At his request, there will be no service. Gifts may be given in his memory to a veterans organization of one’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of the Wiles Funeral Home, Cremation Service & Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington.

WINSLOW — Ona, 76, of Auburn, died in Lewiston Feb. 12. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mechanic Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 26 West Dwinal St., Mechanic Falls.
