DENIS — Jacqueline M., 68, of Henderson, Nev., passed away unexpectedly Dec. 30, after a brief bout with health complications in her sleep at home.

KING — Ernest “Nookie”, 76, of Jay, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Rd., Jay, with Rev. Barry Trask officiating. Family and friends are invited to call at the center, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22. Interment will be in the spring at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Livermore Falls. Gifts may be given in his memory to the Tri-Town Ministerial Association Food Cupboard, P.O. Box 314, Livermore Falls, ME 04254.

LITCHFIELD — Lorraine Dunn, 64, of Sumner, died in Boston, Mass. on Feb. 18. A memorial service will be held at West Sumner Universalist Church on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorraine’s memory can be sent to the Sumner Fire Department Auxiliary, 633 Main St., Sumner, ME 04292. Arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Andrews Chapel, 64 Andrews Road, Bryant Pond.

LOWELL — Shirley B., 90, of Bethel, died in West Paris, Feb. 18. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Greenleaf Chapel, 37 Vernon St., Bethel. Family and friends may attend visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the spring at Wayside Cemetery in West Paris.

PARKE — Kathleen A., 76, of Auburn, died in Auburn, Tuesday, Feb. 19. Funeral services honoring her life will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the memorial chapel of Dillingham & Son, with the Rev. Peter Mars officiating. Burial will be held privately in the spring at North Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. only at the Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel, 62 Spring St., Auburn, 784-6449.
 
RYAN — John M. Sr., 76, of Turner, died on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at his home in Turner. Arrangements are in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Rd., Jay.

SAWYER — Edward Alton, 22, of Oxford, died in Oxford Feb. 19. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m., at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris, with a time of visitation from 12:30 to 1 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics Bowling Tournament program, c/o 125 John Roberts Rd., South Portland, ME 04106.

TRASK — James L., 37, of Oakland Park, Fla. died Saturday, Feb. 9, in Fort Lauderdale. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. A service will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial at Gracelawn Memorial Park. WITHAM — Barbara E., 78, of South Paris, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, at her home. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Oxford Hills and Weston Funeral Services, 1037 Main St., Route 26, Oxford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to Responsible Pet Care, P.O. Box 378, Norway, ME 04268.
