RUMFORD — A memorial service celebrating the life of Emmitt O. “Rusty” Back Jr. was held Wednesday at the Meader and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Tyner officiating. Military honors were provided by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program, Augusta. Music selections were “Ave Maria,” “He’s A Friend of Mine” and “Reach out and Touch the Lord.” Words of remembrance were given by Mike Fitzmorris, Janice and Duane Dalenberg, Ruthann Lebrecque, Paula Gaffney and Joy Bordeau. A reception followed at the home of Carey Foster in Rumford.
