RUMFORD — Funeral services for Hector J. Dayon were conducted on Monday, Feb. 11, at Holy Savior Parish, with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt officiating. Organist Mark Belanger sang “Ave Maria,” “Hosea” and “Fly Like a Bird.” Hosts and wine were brought to the altar by Keith Dayon and Shawn Murphy. Readings were done by Jeff Dayon, Ryan Dayon and Angie Arsenault. Eulogy was written and read by son, Jeff Dayon. Full military honors were conducted. A reception was held in the church hall after the service, served by Daughters of Isabella and catered by Ralph's Store.
