LEWISTON — Funeral services honoring the life of J. Edmond Levesque, Jr., were held Wednesday morning at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home with Deacon Irenee Richard presiding. During the service, Edmond's Goddaughter, Tina Perreault proclaimed the first reading and also recited the prayer of the faithful.
Following a procession to St. Peter's Cemetery, Deacon Richard recited committal prayers. The prayers were followed by military honors conducted by the United States Army Honor Detail, who played taps and presented our country's flag to Edmond's son, Thomas Levesque, in recognition of his father's service to our country during the Vietnam Conflict.
The pallbearers were Mike and Bobby Valliere, Roland Perreault, Craig Greeley, Russell Sites and Jimmy Allarie.
At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were then invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco's Restaurant in Lewiston.
Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
