I am writing this in support of Scott D'Amboise because he has been campaigning against Sen. Olympia Snowe for more than two years.
He was the first and only challenger that Sen. Snowe had for Maine's Republican primary until Snowe dropped out of the race. Unfortunately, the "Johnny-come-latelys" have been crawling out of the woodwork on both Democratic and Republican sides alike.
My favorite opportunist is Angus King, the former independent governor of our state, who liked to spend money the state didn't have and now thinks he capable of being our senator. Didn't we have enough of King already? We need new blood that hasn't been tainted.
D'Amboise is a honest man who is willing to put his life on hold to perform his patriotic duty and represent Maine as its next senator.
