E. Leavitt: Delays could cause catastrophe

I just finished reading the July 25 story regarding the emergency radio frequency jammer in York County.

I am disheartened that an individual would take such action. The emergency responders who serve us are highly trained and compassionate people who risk their lives daily for the benefit of all of us.

Firefighters and rescue workers are unique in that they have compassion for every call they answer and are caregivers with dedication to serve us. Any delay to a fire, accident or health care issue can result in a catastrophe.

The perpetrator should find a moral compass and play with that.

Catch the Perp!

They need to catch this person fast, before it costs Mainers life and property. This is childishness of unimaginable scope. This fool has no empathy for fellow Mainers. Find and punish this person to the full extent of the law.
