Mary Lou St. John is running to represent District 95 in the Maine state Legislature, which includes Norway, Waterford, West Paris and Greenwood.
She and I attended elementary school together in West Paris. This area is her home. She knows what difficulties people face. When I asked her why she was running for state representative, she told me she knew many people who were trying to get by in hard situations. She hopes to help them by representing them well in the Legislature. She will be an important voice for the people of District 95.
She is open, friendly and honest. While campaigning, she always tells people how she can be contacted, and she has already made contacts to find answers to questions they had. Mary Lou St. John is a person who understands the needs of folks in District 95.
