B. Gelberg: Dynamic representatives

Maine District 105 has a rare opportunity to send dynamic representation to Augusta next month.

Nichole Stevens, a Maine native, educated in Maine with a bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, wife of New Gloucester Selectman Mark Stevens and stepmother to a young daughter, brings energy, leadership and experience to her candidacy for the Maine House.

John Cleveland was born and educated in Maine, has a bachelor's degree in biology, has been married for 32 years and is the father of two college-educated sons. He is a candidate for the Maine Senate. He has served as mayor of Auburn and state senator as well as on local boards, and owned Community Dynamics Corp. for 23 years.

Stevens and Cleveland both advocate strong public systems, health care access, protection for the environment, improving infrastructure and fair taxation, all of which contribute to jobs.

I support John Cleveland and Nichole Stevens for a prosperous Maine.

Bernice Gelberg, New Gloucester
