M. Parkin: Moving in a positive direction

Elected legislators should represent the best of what the public wants for their districts and for the state. If that representation includes integrity, diligence, open-mindedness and willingness to work hard to research and fact-find, then District 68 is fortunate to have Rep. Mike Beaulieu currently on the job in Augusta, and also running for re-election.

A review of his website speaks for itself. His unwavering support for broad-based educational opportunity, business growth with increased employment potential, and responsive, affordable government, provides his constituents with a balanced, thoughtful and effective combination of goals and objectives, championed by a well-respected and effective legislator.

A vote to re-elect Rep. Mike Beaulieu is a vote to continue moving District 68 and the state of Maine forward in a proactive and positive direction.
