Dennise Whitley, Senate candidate from the Oxford Hills and Lakes Region areas, has spent her adult life — three generations — advocating for the people of the western foothills.
In that time, she has attained her bachelor's and master's degrees. Her career includes responsible positions with three major hospitals, the Red Cross, the Heart Association, a member of the board of directors of the Franklin Saving Bank, and former Maine Human Rights commissioner.
She is prepared on Day One. She knows her way around Augusta and the Legislature. She left a good job, a lucrative position, to advocate and represent area people full time in this great state.
Being a senator or a representative is a very high calling, and I admire anyone who is willing to step up to the plate.
I have checked her credentials and feel comfortable voting for Dennise Whitley.
Mike Quinn, Otisfield
