J. Albrecht: Credible voice for the region

Rep. Sheryl Briggs has earned her re-election in House District 93. She sponsored “Vietnam War Remembrance Day” in Maine; helped start the Hunters for the Hungry program at the Mexico Green Church Food Pantry; and received the endorsement of Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine with a scorecard grade of A.

She has spent her life here and has experienced many of the same issues we all face. She knows the value of education. She had the experience of losing her job in a plant closing and knew how important it was to have the opportunity to retrain for a new job.

She and her family value the recreational opportunities of this area and she knows how important it is to protect the environment that supports them.

Sheryl Briggs is a strong and credible voice for this region and I will support her on Nov. 6.

Jonathan Albrecht, Dixfield
