During the recent presidential election, the liberal, pro-homosexual, pro-Marxist election promoters of Barack Obama got what they wanted.
To young female voters, he offered free abortions and free contraception, along with free education to some and unlimited student loans to others.
To immigrants, he offered free aid and a good job.
To seniors — no longer a need to worry about dying, the government will take care of that.
Those promoters also got a president who supports abortion-on-demand and was on a May cover of Newsweek portrayed as America's "first gay president." Did those self-professed believers surrender their biblical convictions?
On another subject, there are many precedents in the Bible for self-protection. The subject is addressed in Luke 22:36 and 38. "He that hath a purse let him take it, and likewise his scrip; and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one." "And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough."
That is plainly addressing the subject of self-defense.

What do you have to offer, Robert?
Besides hatred and ignorance.

Mr. Roy, in scripture there is a passage somewhere that can be used to prove a point and one to disprove that same point.
Perhaps it's time for you to pack your bags and move to the Soviet Union where laws outlaw any public display of affection by same sex couples.
"The liberal, pro-homosexual, pro-Marxist election promoters" did one hell of a good job fooling the majority of American voters. I'm glad your so incredibly insightful you couldn't be fooled.

I'm even less a fan of people who use the bible to remonstrate the government on how it does things.
If you want a country that is run by religious beliefs, move to Iran. If you don't like that idea, shut up and read the Constitution, which is what this country is run on, not the bible.

that any educated person could disagree with a simple statement of fact???? THERE IS NO MENTION OF GOD, or JESUS, or RELIGION (except that there shall be no official religion) any where in the Constitution.
