LEWISTON — A special meeting of city councilors from Lewiston and Auburn will focus on economic development Wednesday, Oct. 17.
Councilors are invited to the meeting in the Lewiston City Council Chambers in City Hall. The social hour at 5:15 p.m. and meeting at 6:15 p.m. are open to the public.
Staff from both cities will update councilors on their current efforts and projects, and councilors will get to ask questions. That's followed by a discussion led by consultants from Eaton Peabody, about long-term goals for economic development and what the cities can do together.
Councilors are also scheduled to discuss if they want to schedule more joint meetings and if so, what the topics could be.
