Harold Smith enjoys the sunshine as he sits outside his barbershop in Auburn on Thursday. He opened Smith's Barber Shop 49 years ago. "I have seen the post-World War II short-hair styles to the '70s long-hair styles and now back to the short-hair styles," Smith said. If his junior high school customers are any indication, long hair is on its way back, he said.
