Lewiston city services slowed today

LEWISTON – City Clerk Kathy Montejo reminds residents that many city services will be slowed Tuesday because of Election Day duties.

"The city utilizes many city employees to help work at the seven polling places across the city to assist voters with election services," she said in an email. “We have employees from every city department working at the polls throughout the day from 7 a.m. through 8 p.m. As a result, services in various city departments will be slower due to limited remaining staff coverage in those departments."

If residents need to utilize services from any city department, it might be best if they could wait until Wednesday, if at all possible, when departments will be full-staffed again, Montejo said.

Residents with questions may contact Lewiston City Hall at 513-3000.
