Senior driving topic of MPBN program

The Sun Journal reported on elderly drivers in a two part series on Oct. 1.

"Senior Drivers" will be the topic of "Maine Watch" on Maine Public Broadcasting System at 8 p.m. Nov. 15, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 16, and 5 p.m. Nov. 18.

Jennifer Rooks will talk with guests Dr. Dan Onion, Lori Parham and Sun Journal reporter Bonnie Washuk. Questions aired will include: What are the dangers posed by elder drivers? Should Maine's laws be changed? How should family members and doctors approach the issue?

The Sun Journal reported on elderly driving in a special report, "A Risk Behind the Wheel?" on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
