Auburn Police Officers photograph the second story window that a reported pregnant woman jumped from after being assaulted Monday night at 123 Winter Street in Auburn.
AUBURN — The Auburn Police Department is investigating a possible assault at an apartment building at 123 Winter St.
At about 10:15 p.m. Monday night, the Auburn Police Department responded to reports of of multiple assaults at the Winter Street address. Six cruisers arrived on scene, as well as Auburn Fire Department Ladder 5 and two ambulances.
The children of one of the victims were led away by a friend of the family, and the scene was quickly secured.
Auburn police immediately began the investigation and subsequent search for suspects. The incident remains under investigation.
Efforts to contact Auburn police spokesmen were unsuccessful.


I would say this warrented six cruisers....
From what I heard over the scanner, there were three people at least two were pistol whipped, one was pregnant. The pregnant one went out a second story window. I still wish they could explain why that particular home was targeted. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a conversation over coffee in Dorchester, about attacking a house on Winter St. in Maine. It does help to be aware of whats happening and why in your neighborhood......
