Kiernan Priola, a 12-year-old student at Fairview School in Auburn, screams with joy while riding down the Bobcat trail in a sit-ski controlled by Central Maine Adaptive Sports instructor Bill Dubois at Lost Valley Ski Area recently. CMAS will be holding a Ski-A-Thon from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9. Anyone raising more than $30 will ski free all day and be eligible for prizes that will be given away each hour. The top three fundraisers will get first pick of prizes that include a signed snowboard from Gold Medalist Seth Wescott, a season pass from Lost Valley, day passes from Saddleback and Sugarloaf and hockey sticks from the Portland Pirates.
