LEWISTON – Lewiston Superintendent Bill Webster will meet with the Martel Elementary School community at 7 p.m. Tuesday to talk about redistricting plans this fall.
Part of the long-range redistricting plans call for the Martel school to close in five or six years, replaced by a new grades 3-6 school for Martel, Longley and Farwell elementary schools. That long-range plan hinges on state school construction money. Last year the state told Lewiston the project was high on the list for the next round.
The Martel meeting will be held at the school. Full story in tomorrow's paper. -- Bonnie Washuk
