Special Olympics swim meet

Teams from Androscoggin County competed to prepare athletes for the state swim meet at Bates College on April 11. O'Connell is the coach for the Auburn Special Olympics team that consists of students from Fairview Elementary, Auburn Middle and Edward Little High schools. Bragg is a sophomore at ELHS. Vincent is a volunteer who lives in Durham.

"He is happy all the time," Ellis' teacher, Peggy Aiello, said of the seventh-grader at Auburn Middle School. Wilkins is a physical therapist who works with Auburn students.
