Boys' basketball

Boothbay 66, Monmouth 33

BOOTHBAY HARBOR — Anthony DiMauro scored 23 points and Lincoln Simmons hit for 11 more to lead Boothbay to a 66-33 victory over Monmouth Academy in an MVC boys' basketball tilt Monday. Andrew Hallinen drained the game's only 3-pointer and finished with nine points for the Seahawks.

Marcques Houston scored 16 of the Mustangs' 33 points to lead the way in the loss.

Girls’ hockey

Hebron 5, NYA 1

HEBRON — Katie Couture netted four goals and added an assist to lead hebron Academy to a 5-1 victory over North Yarmouth Academy in girls’ hockey action Monday. Abby Kinens had the other goal for the Lumberjacks, and five other playeres registered an assist in the win.

Women's basketball

Bryant 44, Maine 40

SMITHFIELD, R.I. — The University of Maine women's basketball team fell to Bryant University on Monday, 44-40.

Milica Mitrovic led Maine with a career-high 12 points, while fellow freshman Anna Heise added 10.

Naana Ankoma-Mensa paced the Bulldogs with 11 points and eight rebounds while Courtney Schissler netted 10.
