Two local racewalkers earn All-America status at NAIA meet

Abby Dunn, formerly of Edward Little High School, and Nicole Court-Menendez, formerly of Lewiston High School, competed Friday in the 3,000-meter racewalk at the 2013 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio. Dunn, a freshman at Goshen College (Indiana) placed third in a time of 15:16.09. Court-Menendez, a freshman at Dakota Wesleyan (South Dakota), placed eighth in 16:06.32. Both athletes earned All-America status for their finishes. Nicole Bonk Embry-Riddle set a new record in the event as she successfully defended her NAIA national title in a time of 13:53.63.
