Sanford police seek credit union robber

SANFORD (AP) — Police are looking for a suspect in New Hampshire who is wanted in connection with a credit union robbery in Maine.

Police say a man entered the York County Federal Credit Union on Main Street in Sanford on Thursday afternoon and demanded money from a teller. He did not show a weapon, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Sanford Police said a witness provided police with information about a vehicle seen speeding away. Police found the vehicle impounded in Manchester, N.H.

The investigation led police to 23-year-old Justin Brady of Manchester, who is wanted in connection with the robbery.

Police in Sanford were able to speak to Brady briefly by phone before he ended the call. Authorities in Manchester are looking for him.
