ISLESBORO — The wedding of Natasha Sabrina Nelson and Thomas Kenneth Stevens was held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 15 in Islesboro. Bruce Carver, notary public and cousin of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Stevens is the daughter of Lars and Maxine Nelson of Islesboro. Mr. Stevens is the son of Gary Stevens of Turner and Susan Paige of Orlando, Fla.

The bride wore a strapless white lace gown and carried a bouquet of white dahlias and sea lavender with cascades of English ivy.

Krysta Lilly, friend of the bride, was honor attendant. Bridesmaid was Olivia Boucher, cousin of the bride. Lilie Mae Stevens, niece, was flower girl.

Serving as best man for the bridegroom was his brother, Tim Stevens. Usher was Sean Simpson, friend of the couple.

A reception followed at Saltwater Farm Barn in Islesboro. The couple is planning a cruise in the Western Caribbean. They are residing in Turner.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor's degree in creative writing. She is currently employed at MSAD 52 as a Title 1 reading education technician and also at Dark Harbor Landscaping in Islesboro.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. He is currently employed at the Nezinscot Guild and also at Dark Harbor Landscaping in Islesboro.
