BUCKFIELD — William and Paula Sullivan Jr. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Theresa Sullivan, to Adam Jonathan Courtney of Springvale, son of John Courtney and Collette Couture.
Ms. Sullivan is a 1998 graduate of Buckfield High School. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine in Orono in 2002 and 2004 with a bachelor's degree and a master’s degree in communication. She is currently employed as a public relations specialist with the Maine Turnpike Authority.
Mr. Courtney is a 2005 graduate of Sanford High School. He received a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Southern Maine in 2012. He owns and operates Adam J. Courtney Painting Services in Sanford.
The couple is planning to be married this summer in Hawaii with a celebratory reception to be held locally shortly thereafter.
