Toni and Bob
Bowering
WILTON — Family and friends celebrated the 50th wedding anniversary of Bob and Toni Bowering on Oct. 22 at the home of their son, Marc Bowering in Wilton.
The couple was married on Oct. 21 , 1961, in Cortland, N.Y. Family present consisted of son , Marc and daughter, Suzanne, grandchildren, Morgan and Joseph and other family friends. The couple's son, George, and his son, Joshua, were out of state and unable to be present.
The couple resides in Wilton and own an antique shop called Collector's Delight, located on the Wilton Road in Wilton. Mr. Bowering is retired from the Franklin County Sheriff's Department and Mrs. Bowering is retired from being a nursing home administrator.
