Lauren Naliboff
VIENNA — Dr. Jay and Jane Naliboff of Vienna are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Corinne Naliboff of Philadelphia, Pa., to Nicholas James Bessman of Philadelphia, Pa., son of Carl and Jean Bessman of Ames, Iowa.
Miss Naliboff is a 2001 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and a 2005 graduate of Vassar College with a bachelor's degree in biology. She will receive a doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine in May from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She will then pursue a residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
Mr. Bessman is a 2003 graduate of Ames High School in Ames, Iowa. He received a bachelor's degree with distinction in biochemistry in 2006 from Iowa State University. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in the department of biochemistry molecular biophysics at the University of Pennsylvania.
The wedding is planned for June 9 at the home of the parents of the bride.
