LEWISTON — The wedding of Christine Louise Nichols and Jeffrey Allan Fournier was held at 3 p.m. on Aug. 18 at the Bates College Chapel. Jerry  Ellis, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Fourner is the daughter of Ericka M. Duval of Mexico and Paul O'Neil of Orrington. Mr. Fournier is the son of Patience Lane Fournier of Winslow and the late David W. Fournier Sr.

The bride was given in marriage by Paul "Dad" O'Neil. Jaclyn Wilt, friend of the couple was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Penny Adams, daughter, Robin Frost, sister of the bride, and Amy Gibney and Amy St. Pierre, friends of the couple. Emily Frost, granddaughter of the bride, was flower girl.

Rich Merriman, friend of the couple, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Rob Greatorex, uncle of the bridegroom, Eric Frost and Matthew Adams Jr., sons of the bride, and Craig Tracy, brother of the bride. Dominick Adams, son of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston. The couple is residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and a 2002 graduate of Bernard's School of Hair Design. She is owner of L/A Hair Design in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Winslow High School and is employed at Savage Safe Handling.
