CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The wedding of Mikayla Christine Burbank and Aaron Michael Lane was held at 4 p.m. on Sept. 15 at Sugarloaf Outdoor Center in Carrabassett Valley. John Gensel officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Lane is the daughter of Joy and stepdaughter of Scott York of Strong and Chris Burbank of Salem. Mr. Lane is the son of Tamara and Floyd Lane of Anson.
Brittany York, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Myriah Smith, best friend of the bride, and Sara Chase and Brittany Lane, sisters-in-law. Emilee Blodgett, niece, was flower girl.
Serving as best man was Brandon Lane, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Tyson Chase and Josh York, brothers of the bride, Lance Arsenault, friend of the bridegroom, and Hunter York, Hayden York and Christopher York, brothers of the bride. Kooper Chase, nephew, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center. The couple is residing in North Anson.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Mt. Abram High School, attended one year at Southern Maine Community College and two years at Kennebec Valley Community College. She is currently employed at RLH Enterprises.
The bridegroom is a 2010 graduate of Carrabec High School and attended one year at Southern Maine Community College, receiving certificates for heavy equipment operator. He is currently operating his own logging business AML Logging.
