JAY — Ross and Lorelei Purrington are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Heidi Purrington of Kittery, to Ryan Bouchard of Kittery, son of David and Brenda Bouchard of Naples.
Miss Purrington is a 2004 graduate of Jay High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. She received a master's degree in microelectronic engineering in 2010 from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is employed as an engineer at Fairchild Semiconductor.
Mr. Bouchard is a 2002 graduate of Kennebunk High School and a 2007 graduate of Stonehill College with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and economics. He is a financial adviser with Merrill Lynch.
The couple is planning a wedding on Oct. 5.
