Copp

DURANGO, Colo. — The wedding of Rachel Elaine Smith and Garett Walker Copp was held on Aug. 25 at Lightner Creek Inn in Durango, Colo. Rev. Joe Milburn officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Copp is the daughter of Steven and Susan Smith of Durango, Colo. Mr. Copp is the son of Roc and Theresa Copp of Poland.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory strapless gown with toole skirt and she carried a bouquet of purple and fuchsia miniature roses.

Audrey Smith, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Beth Beach, Christen Fallon and Jessi Milburn, friends of the bride.

Halsey Copp served as best man for his brother. Ushers were Wesley Dionne, Christopher Hanks and Derek Ray, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Lightner Creek Inn in Durango. A reception was also held on Sept. 1 at Fox Ridge in Auburn. The couple traveled to Maine for their honeymoon and they are residing in Montrose, Colo.

The bride received a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Northern Arizona at Flagstaff. She is employed at Mercury Payment Systems.

The bridegroom received a bachelor's degree in history/government/law from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. He is employed at Consolidated Electric Distributors.
