WINTERPORT — Patricia Woodbyrne and her husband, Dr. Larry Hambrick of Bangor announce the marriage of their daughter, Amy Woodbyrne Hambrick, to Joshua Shawn Blanchard, son of the late Carol Nadeau of Lewiston and Phillip Blanchard of Seal Harbor.

The wedding was held at St. Gabriel’s Church in Winterport the afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 22.

The bride's sister, Gina Hambrick of Seattle, Wash., served as maid of honor. The bridegroom's brother, Zachariah Blanchard of Carmel, served as best man.

The service was conducted by Father Seamus Griesbach. The ring bearer was six-year old nephew of the bridegroom, Vincent Blanchard. Seating at the church was assisted by friends of the bridegroom from Mount Desert Island, John Sweeney and Luke Damon. A reception and dinner followed at the Lucerne Inn.

The bride holds a bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University School of Business and Management Information Systems. She recently started work in retail management at Bar Harbor Bank and Trust.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy with a bachelor's degree in marine engineering operations. He serves as an engineer for Excelerate Energy LNG of Texas.

The newlyweds reside in Surry. Their honeymoon is planned for early summer in the Mediterranean and Italy.
