Bertha and Maurice
Leveille
GREENE — A surprise party was held recently for Maurice and Bertha Leveille of Greene on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The event was planned by their children, Sherry Camic, Jeff Leveille and Wendy Pelletier, and was held at the Village Inn in Auburn.
An anniversary cake with a picture of the couple was served. A picture board was featured with pictures of the couple from the past 50 years. The couple received gifts, cards and flowers.
Mr. Leveille and the former Bertha Jones were married on Jan. 12, 1963, at the Catholic church in Everett, Wash.
In addition to their children, the grandchildren of the couple are Theresa Camic, Randi Michaud, Kristen Camic, Elena Leveille, Robert Leveille, Casey Brochu and Cameron Brochu.
Mrs. Leveille is retired from General Electric Co. Mr. Leveille is retired from Pioneer Plastics Co.
