PERU — Robert “Gee” W. Gallant, 57, died Jan. 23, at his residence on Stage Coach Road in Peru.

He was born May 23, 1954, in Rumford, the son of Maurice and Marion (Doris) Gallant. Gee was a graduate of Rumford High School, Class of 1972.
He is survived by his mother, Doris of Rumford; a son, John of Peru; a brother, Maurice and wife, Gail, of Florida; a sister, Marion of Baldwin; a sister, Maureen (Trinket) and husband, David, of Rumford; a brother, Mark and his wife, Patrice, of Virginia; four nephews, Aaron, Craig, and Brady Fergola and Mark Gallant Jr.; and a niece, Amanda Gallant Belsford.
He was predeceased by his father; and an infant brother, Richard.
