PLANT CITY, Fla. — Herman Dale Baker, 63, of Plant City, Fla., died on Thursday, Jan. 26, at South Florida Baptist Hospital.
He was born Thursday, July 1, 1948, in Otisfield, the son of the late Lester Baker Sr. and Carol Baker. He was the beloved husband of Diana Farrar Baker, she survives.
He was a mason in the construction business for more than 30 years and after retiring, he began a career driving a truck. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He moved to Plant City in 2009 from Oxford.
Surviving are brothers, Sam Skillin, Robert Baker and Lester Baker Jr.; and sisters, Claudia Chapman, Shelia Smith and Denise Baker.
