Rita T. Brown

RUMFORD — Rita T. Brown, 90, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the Rumford Hospital. She was a resident of Dixfield.

She was born in Dixfield, Feb. 12, 1921, a daughter of Joseph L. and Ida (Boivin) Therriault. She graduated from Dixfield High School, Class of 1939.

Rita was married in Mexico, Feb. 20, 1943, to Clyde I. “Brownie” Brown and they enjoyed 59 wonderful years together, until his death in 2002.

Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia “HoneyBee” Anderson and her husband, Greg, of Gray; a granddaughter, Jennifer and her husband, Joe, of Cooper City, Fla.; her grandson, Jeremiah and his wife, Elisha, of Marana, Ariz.; her sister, Marguerite Brown of Mexico; and many special nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Clyde Joseph “Clydie” Brown in 1975; her sister, Priscilla Robinson; and a brother, Leon G. Therriault.
