LEWISTON — Laurette A. Pelletier, 94, formerly of Poland, died Sunday, Feb. 5, at Marshwood Health Care.
She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 26, 1918, daughter of the late Ernest and Alice Beaulieu Ducasse. She attended local schools and was married Sept. 13, 1947, to Holly Pelletier, who predeceased her Sept. 14, 2000.
Mrs. Pelletier worked in local shoe factories until she moved to Plainville, Conn. There she worked at the Session Clock Factory until the factory closed. The rest of her life, she was a home maker. She moved back to Lewiston in 1984. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Cross Church. Laurette enjoyed playing cards and crocheting.
She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Jackie Pleau; and other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; three sisters, Jeannette Nault, Yvette Bushey and Liane Ducasse; and two brothers, Conrad and Laurier Ducasse.
