STRONG — Dale Owen Virgin, 35, of Strong, died early Wednesday, Feb. 8, at his home.

He was born June 14, 1976, the son of Peter and Judith Virgin. He attended Carrabec High School in North Anson.

Dale enjoyed working on puzzles, listening to music, being in the outdoors at the beach, on a snowmobile or just walking in the woods. He spent happy hours stocking shelves at the Economic Ministry in Salem. Many of his days were spent with friends and the staff at Work First in Farmington. He had a great fascination for the moon and the stars.

He is survived by his father, Peter Virgin of New Portland and partner, Karen Mueller, of Lincoln; his sister, Kristen Virgin and her partner, Amy Wooten, of Lowell, N.C.; uncles and an aunt, Ronald Leonard and his wife, Joyce, of Mapleton, Steven Leonard and his wife, Gwen, of Washington State, Lyndon Leonard and his wife, Tricia, of Rumford, Patricia LaVallee and her husband, Alan, of Thomaston and Perry Virgin and his wife, Tracy, of Peru; several cousins; and especially his dedicated and loving caregivers, Crystal House and her husband, Vincent and son, Jacob, of Strong.

He was predeceased by his mother, Judith, Oct. 19, 2009; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
