Dennis J. Lyons

CROCKETT, Calif. — Dennis J. Lyons, 51, passed away suddenly from a massive stroke on Sunday, Feb. 5.

He was born Jan. 5, 1961, in Biddeford, the son of George Lyons and Beverly (Moffitt) Lyons. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1979, and continued his education at the University of Miami.

Dennis worked as a designer/buyer for Pottery Barn, William Sanoma, Garnett Hill and most recently with Gaelsong. He was extremely talented in his line of work. It led him to travel to numerous countries. His favorite country was France, where he grew fluent in the French language while living there.

Dennis loved traveling, gourmet cooking, the ocean and all things beautiful.

He is survived by his sister, Lori Lyons of Litchfield; his brother, Daniel Lyons and wife, Bobbi, of Old Orchard Beach; his friend, Laura and his dog, Hank, of Crockett, Calif.; and nieces and nephews, Todd, Jaime, Matthew, Elias and Zoe.

He was predeceased by his mother in 1975; and his father in 2006.

He will be missed until we meet again.
