LEWISTON — Charlotte Duchette, 89, died Wednesday, May 16, with family and friends by her side at Montello Manor.

She was born in Mason, Aug. 28, 1922, the daughter of Stella and Francis Westleigh. She attended Lewiston High School. She was employed in several Lewiston mills, and she retired in 1983 as a sales clerk from Marden’s Store.

Charlotte was a member of the Spiritualist Church of Eternal Life and has been a spiritualist for the last 17 years. Charlotte always looked forward to attending her weekly spiritual development classes. She especially enjoyed reading books on spiritualism and angels.

She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles three times a week with her son, Robert. What excited her most was watching bull riding on television.     

She is survived by her son, Robert Woodworth of Lewiston; sister, Georgette; grandchildren, Amy and Laura Duchette; stepdaughter, Theresa Colby; and step-grandson, Craig Colby; and two step-children, Doris and Ronald.

She was predeceased by her second husband, Robert Duchette; stepson, Larry Duchette; Charlotte’s first husband, William Woodworth; and their son, Richard Woodworth.
