SOUTH PARIS — Geneva McDaniel Kenison, 93, of Bridgton, passed away on Friday, June 1, at the Maine Veterans'Home in South Paris, with her family at her side.
She was born on April 20, 1919, the daughter of F. Harold and Elfreda McDaniel.
Geneva married Clifford Kenison on Jan. 14, 1939. They resided in the Oxford/Norway area briefly before establishing their home in Bridgton where they raised their family.
Geneva was a life-long member of the 2nd Advent Christian Church of Bridgton. Her life revolved around church and family activities; she loved sewing, writing to friends and was a member of her church's missionary group.Geneva was a devoted a devoted mother and grandmother.
Geneva is survived by her son, Paul Kenison, of Portland; daughter, Debra, and son-in-law, Richard Albert, of Bridgton; four grandchildren, Kathy Dyer of Harrison, Nanette Kenison of Yarmouth, Cari Albert/Hoglund of Londonderry, N.H., and Ryan Albert of Stow; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Clifford; and her daughter, Lorraine Moore, in 1998.
