MECHANIC FALLS — Larry Crooker Berry, 70, of Mechanic Falls died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 20, at his home.

He was born in Norway, March 18, 1942, the son of Warren C. and Doris R. Crooker Berry. He attended school in Norway and faithfully served our country in the U. S. Army from 1962 to 1964.

Larry had been employed for more than 42 years at Pioneer Plastics in Auburn, prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed puttering around in his garage. On Oct. 14, 1967, he married Sandra Kennard.

Larry is survived by his wife of Mechanic Falls; two daughters, Dawn Lynn Davis and her fiancee, John Berman, of Auburn and Karen Berry of Lewiston; a son, Mark and his fiancee, Deborah Tinsley, of Mechanic Falls; two grandsons, Jonathan and Christopher Davis; two great-grandchildren, Parker Davis and Kaydence Davis; two sisters, Margaret Ames of Oxford and Beverley Farrell of Norway; three brothers, Richard of Bryant Pond, Robert and his wife, Barbara, of Mechanic Falls and Donald and his wife, Sandra, of Plymouth; a brother-in-law, Elwood Dunn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Bruce; and two sisters, Elizabeth and Wanita.
