NEW GLOUCESTER — Edna L. Quimby, 98, born July 10, 1914, died Aug. 23.
Mrs. Quimby attended the Bible Believing Baptist Church in Gray and Baptist Church in Madison. She was a member of Kennebec Valley Grange, National Grange, Sunshine Club and Farm Bureau.
Edna Leora Rickards Quimby leaves three children, Shirley M. Sawyer of Augusta, Elizabeth A. Tetreault of Skowhegan and Everett M. Quimby of New Gloucester; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband, Maxwell L. in 1973; one grandson; and three great-grandchildren.
