Rose A. Lussier

AUBURN — Rose A. Lussier, 90 of Sarah Frye Home, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

She was born in Chisholm, March 21, 1922, daughter of the late Joseph and Florida Chouinard Grondin. Rose was married May 4, 1946, to Bertrand Lussier, who predeceased her Feb. 9, 2001.

Rose was a housewife, and caring for her children was of utmost importance to her. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Family Church and enjoyed bowling and beano.

She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Harris of Monmouth, and Pauline Raymond and husband, Curtis, of San Antonio, Texas; two sons, Robert Lussier and wife, Pamela, of Durham, and Richard Lussier and wife, Caren, of Lewiston; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Antonio Grondin of Auburn and Bertrand Grondin of California.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Irene Cyr, in 2006; and a great-granddaughter, Chelsea Cyr.
